Returning from a family vacation, Dr. Dave calls his children exceptional and intense, shares trip photos with listeners and says the show is a place where information flows both ways because no one in technology ever stops learning. He argues that people must control technology instead of letting it control them and recalls telling business leaders that the honest consulting answer was to avoid an implementation their culture would not use, while also warning that replacing an infected computer without fixing the cause only repeats the problem. The show also captures RFID privacy concerns, the responsibility shared by users and Internet providers, an early Xbox 360 preview, Apple’s move to Intel, the newly announced Windows Vista name and a listener prompting Dr. Dave to correct an outdated website recommendation.
