November 6, 2004

A changed studio crew and a broken phone system give the live broadcast an unusually candid opening, with Dr. Dave eventually admitting that he cannot hear callers and has been trying to follow along as best he can. He explains why clients and listeners began calling him “Dr. Dave,” describes the political frustration that led him and Evil Steve to create CelebrityHypocrites.com, and argues that criticism should address facts rather than personalities. The program also marks sixteen years since the Morris worm, helps a caller whose computer seems to turn itself on, and shows Dr. Dave taking responsibility when another caller has paid twice for one of his company’s products.
